The eduCCate Global Bronze Award Climate Change Teacher Training is the first bold step every primary and secondary school takes on their journey to confidently delivering and developing climate mitigation, adaptation, transition, and transformation knowledge and skills throughout the school.
The Bronze Award helps schools
- Begin to build a strong climate change foundation
- Increase your basic knowledge of climate change and climate action
- Start to develop teachers’ capacity to begin to think about incorporating climate literacy throughout the curriculum
The Bronze Award Sustainability and Climate Literacy Leadership Team [6 members] will:
- have access to eduCCate Global all the resources you need for the next 6-months to help you build your climate literacy one step at a time.
- be introduced to foundational climate change and mitigation concepts and science
- have the opportunity to work together with the other members of the Team to develop skills and start new practices while engaging and activating your students while having fun
OUR TEACHER TRAINING IS BUILDING CAPACITY & CONFIDENCE
- Launching Q1 2022 with Carbon Literacy Teacher Training, certified by eduCCate Global in partnership with The Carbon Literacy Project [Manchester] and leads to the Silver Award for the Teacher & School

The very first step - Your headteacher/school principal nominates your Sustainability and Climate Literacy Leadership Team Lead[s].

Once you’ve done that - Your Sustainability and Climate Literacy Leadership Team Lead[s] create their teams by identifying and recruiting their 5 team members for their team[s].
